Week 1: Tapping into Uncertainty

In Week 1 of our group tapping series, we explored the discomfort of uncertainty—how it feels in our bodies, the doubts it stirs in our minds, and the ways we try to control the unknown. Through EFT tapping, we acknowledged thoughts like “What if this doesn’t work?” and “I don’t know what’s coming next, and that feels unsettling,” while also creating space for “It’s okay to be unsure, and I can still be open to the process.” This session offers a compassionate place to release resistance, calm the nervous system, and build trust in ourselves, even in the midst of uncertainty.

Week 2: Stress and Overwhelm

This week, we explored the difference between stress and overwhelm, recognizing how they show up in our bodies and minds. We looked at the messages we’ve internalized about stress—our mama bear energy, our bracing for a fight, or our using anger to keeps ourselves from falling apart—and how those shape our automatic reactions to chronic stress. Through tapping, we gave ourselves permission to let go of stress, the confusion that can come from overwhelm, and asked our bodies to begin widening our lens and help reset our internal cues for safety. Briefly, we reconnected with the time in the deep freeze needed to get our nervous system back online, and how it’s essential to our well-being. As you review this session, notice what resonates most and what small shifts you can bring into the week ahead.

Week 3: Burnout

This week, we explored the deep layers of burnout, resistance to letting go of burnout, and the freeze response. Through EFT Tapping and guided reflection, we uncovered the internalized beliefs that keep us stuck in cycles of exhaustion and over-responsibility. We also introduced practices to build safety, restore energy, and reconnect with play, rest, and joy—essential antidotes to burnout, so we can allow space for self-compassion, ease, and new possibilities.

Week 4: Anxiety & Worry

This week, we explored the deeper layers of anxiety and worry—how they manifest in the body, the beliefs that keep them in place, and the ways we’ve learned to use worry as a coping strategy. Through EFT Tapping and guided reflection, we uncovered the unconscious patterns that link anxiety to safety, control, and preparedness. We also introduced practices to shift our relationship with worry, allowing space for curiosity, presence, and trust. By honoring anxiety’s messages without letting it dictate our choices, we create space for greater calm, clarity, and emotional freedom.

To me, this sounds what anxiety feels like!

Week 5: Anxiety & Avoidance

This week, we explored the tender intersection between anxiety and avoidance—the ways we instinctively numb, distract, or disengage from uncomfortable emotions, sensations, or truths. Through EFT Tapping and guided reflection, we uncovered the protective role avoidance has often played in our lives and how it can quietly disconnect us from our needs and inner wisdom. Together, we practiced meeting avoidance with curiosity instead of judgment, learning to notice when we disconnect and gently inviting ourselves back into presence, one moment at a time. By bringing awareness to these patterns, we open the door to safety, resilience, and emotional connection and our unique ventral vagal presence.

Week 6: Anxiety & Dread

This week, we stepped into the heavy, anticipatory weight of dread—the way it gathers in our bodies, steals our energy, and narrows our capacity for joy before anything even happens. Through tapping, heart-centered breathing, and reflection, we named the difference between anxiety’s uncertainty and dread’s perceived inevitability. We explored how dread often exhausts us long before the event arrives, and how we can soften its grip by staying rooted in the present. By honoring dread as a signal rather than a sentence, we began reclaiming our strength, calming our nervous system, and creating space for trust, ease, and resilience.

Meditation - Softening Dread

Week 7: Excitement & Fear

This week, we explored activation in the body — the sensations that can feel like anxiety, excitement, or fear — and how the stories we tell about those feelings shape our experience. Through tapping, we chose to pause, name, and stay present with the aliveness moving through us. By shifting from judgment to curiosity, we discovered that what we often label as fear might also carry the spark of possibility. This session offered space to reframe activation, reconnect with our nervous system, and practice holding both excitement and fear with compassion and trust.

Week 7 - Pulse of Life - Meditation

Week 8: Vulnerability as Risk

This week, we explore what it means to let ourselves be seen when there’s no guarantee of being received. Vulnerability isn’t just emotional openness—it’s a bold act of risking visibility, expression, and connection. Through tapping, reflection, and guided practice, we look at the protections we’ve built around our hearts and the moments we’ve held back to stay safe. Together, we create space for new choices: ones that allow us to stay with ourselves, even as we step into greater authenticity.
